On March 20th, S. Tentishev Asian Medical Institute came alive with colors, culture, and celebration as we welcomed the festival of Nowroz with full zeal and zest! Though Nowroz officially falls on March 21st, we celebrated a day early, bringing together the vibrant traditions of various Asian countries under one roof.
The event featured beautifully decorated stalls representing different Asian nations, each offering traditional cultural food and showcasing their heritage. Our dedicated medical departments and teachers from AsMI also took part by setting up creative stalls, making the occasion even more special.
We were honored by the presence of the ๐๐ฟ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป ๐ง๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐, who visited every stall and appreciated the efforts poured into making them stand out. Joining him were ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐, sharing in the festive spirit.
The celebration continued on stage with energetic cultural dance performances by AsMI staff, lighting up smiles and reflecting the true meaning of Nowroz โ a time of renewal, joy, and unity. The best performances were rewarded with cash prizes, adding an extra spark to the event!
To further embrace the importance of games and camaraderie, fun competitions like arm wrestling and tug of war were organized among staff members, creating laughter and unforgettable memories.
It was a day filled with happiness, cultural pride, and community bonding, leaving everyone excited and hopeful for the light of next yearโs Nowroz festival!
