Students from AzMI named after S. Tentishev showcased their exceptional skills and expertise at the I International Student Olympiad in Clinical Anatomy and Surgical Skills during the II PIROGOV FORUM in Bishkek on November 24-25, 2023. The event, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of KRSU named after B.N. Yeltsin, and the 75th anniversary of the esteemed Professor V.Kh. Gabitov, witnessed outstanding performances from AzMI participants.
Securing the 3rd place as a team, AzMI students achieved remarkable success in individual categories:
- Nazrul Hassan (5th year, 9th semester) – 2nd degree diploma in the category “Plaster Cast.”
- Nisha Kumari (6th year, 11th semester) – 2nd-degree diploma in the category “Knitting Knots.”
- Farhan Ali Shah (4th year, 8th semester) – 1st degree diploma in the nomination “Vascular Suture.”
- Aditya Pandey (6th year, 11th semester) – 1st-degree diploma in the nomination “Urgent Care.”
- Muhammad Suleiman (6th year, 11th semester) – 3rd degree diploma in the nomination “Abdominal Surgery.”
- Gopinath Gopal Krishnan (6th year, 11th semester) – 1st degree diploma in the category “Tools.”
Certificates of participation and well-deserved diplomas were awarded to the students, acknowledging their dedication and exemplary performance. The Department of Surgical Disciplines and the Department of Morphological Disciplines played pivotal roles in preparing the students, and the AzMI leadership, including the administrative director and the dean’s office, received heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering support and guidance. This achievement stands as a testament to the institute’s commitment to excellence in medical education.
