On April 30, 2024. The Department of Therapeutic and Specialized Disciplines of AzMI, in collaboration with the Student Scientific Society and with the participation of all departments of the institute, successfully held an inter-university conference “Topical issues of deficiency conditions in various climatic and geographical conditions.” The conference was timed to coincide with the birthday of the founder of AzMI named after S. Tentishev, Erkin Satkynbaevich Tentishev.
The event was attended by students and teachers from 5 universities in Kyrgyzstan. The conference provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of deficiency conditions, taking into account the characteristics of various climatic and geographical conditions.
The conference featured presentations on a wide range of topics, including:
- The role of vitamins and microelements in maintaining health
- Prevalence of deficiency conditions in different regions
- The influence of climate and geographical factors on deficiency conditions
- Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of deficiency conditions

At the end of the conference, all participants who presented abstracts of work, presentations, and posters were awarded prizes and certificates.
