On 12 May 2023, the International Olympiad “Natural Sciences – the Basis of Medicine” was held at AzMI; representatives of nine universities: KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Kazakh-Russian Medical University, KSMA named after I. Akhunbaev, ZhAGU named after B. Osmonov, Moscow Higher School of Music, ADAM University, MMU and AzMI named after S. Tentishev competed with knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. This Olympiad became a single platform that united medical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, created conditions for teachers to exchange best practices, and gave participants the opportunity to demonstrate the level of their intellectual preparation and prove the quality of education in their university at the international level.
