On October 31, 2024, the Asian Medical Institute hosted an impactful seminar for Kant school principals, spotlighting Aigul Ryskulovna Abakirova’s manual, “Step Forward,” which provides guidance on teaching children with disabilities. The session emphasized strategies for fostering inclusive learning environments, including the use of adapted programs, technical aids, and training for educators, as well as offering specialized support for students with unique needs.
Participants discussed the critical role of individualized approaches in addressing each child’s requirements effectively. Copies of the manual were distributed to school principals, who expressed their gratitude to AsMI for this initiative, which marks a significant step toward enhancing inclusive education in the community.
