Asian International University named after S. Tentishev, Kyrgyzstan, is proud to highlight the international achievement of Mr. Watanyar Khan, a final-year student of Asian International University, who was selected to participate in the International Youth Festival 2026, held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, from September 11โ17, 2026.
From more than 113,000 applicants worldwide, only 10,000 participants were selected, including international delegates representing 191 countries. Watanyar Khan was among the selected participants from Kyrgyzstan and one of only four Pakistani nationals selected within the Kyrgyzstan delegation.
Most notably, he was awarded FULL SPONSORSHIP, covering both the Main Festival and the Post-Festival Regional Program.
The festival provided an exceptional international platform for Youth Leadership, Cultural Exchange, International Dialogue, and Global Cooperation, featuring grand ceremonies, international cultural programs, exhibitions, and official institutional visits.
Following the main festival, Watanyar Khan was among the select delegates chosen for the Regional Program from September 18โ22, which included visits to the Chuvash Republic and Mari El Republic, meetings with regional leadership, and opportunities to explore the history, traditions, culture, and innovation of these regions.
The remarkable journey concluded with a visit to Moscow and Red Square before his return on September 24.
Congratulations to Mr. Watanyar Khan on proudly representing Asian International University and Kyrgyzstan on an international platform!
