On December 26, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Asian International University. Before the meeting began, the chairman of the Academic Council of AzMU named after S. Tentishev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Selpiev, presented awards to teachers and students who won and took prize places in an international scientific competition.
During the meeting of the Academic Council, students’ proposals for improving the educational process and living conditions in dormitories were discussed. A representative of the student parliament gave a presentation on the problems and proposals of students regarding the organization of the educational process, the quality of educational services, the academic workload, internships, the availability of consultations with teachers, as well as the social and organizational conditions of study, after which discussions were held and solutions were proposed.
The university administration noted the importance of open dialogue with students.
All the issues and suggestions raised will be analyzed in detail and taken into account in further work aimed at improving the quality of education and student life.
The university will continue the practice of regularly taking student opinions into account and is open to constructive suggestions.
Reports were also heard on the safety training provided to university staff and students by safety engineer N.E. Kaptagaeva.
A report on the activities of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Pediatrics was presented by the head of the department, A.M. Sharapidinova.
The submitted Regulations and university logo were approved.
We note that in its work, the university is guided by modern educational requirements, open dialogue with students, and continuous improvement of the quality of education and the academic environment.
